About
P78 was founded to do one thing well: build propulsion that's practical to procure, straightforward to integrate, and built to fly.

We design, build, test, and qualify non-toxic propulsion systems in-house — applying first-principles engineering and modern manufacturing approaches to keep cost down, timelines short, and programs on track. Compliance, interfaces, and handling are treated as design constraints from day one, not details to resolve later.

Our team brings over 18 years of combined experience across propulsion development, qualification, launch operations, and satellite integration. We've been on both sides of the table — developing hardware and integrating it into real programs under real schedule pressure. That shapes everything about how we work.

That means fixed pricing, clear documentation, and a single team accountable for the outcome — not a chain of suppliers to manage.

careers

why join us

We're a small team building flight-ready propulsion systems. That means broad responsibility, genuine ownership, and the chance to see your work fly.

We're not looking for a specific background. Aerospace, automotive, energy, motorsport, precision manufacturing, the discipline matters less than how you approach problems.

We hire for mindset: people who are curious, take initiative, and see things through.
If you work well in a close-knit team, learn quickly, and want to contribute to something technically demanding from the start, we'd like to hear from you.

internships

Interns at P78 are embedded in the team and contributing to projects from day one. You'll take ownership of a defined problem, work directly with the engineers building the hardware, and deliver something real.

We look for people who arecurious, self-directed, and ready to learn quickly. Background and institution matter less than attitude and ability. If that sounds like you, we'd like to hear from you.

Open Applications

We don't always hire to a fixed job description. If you have strong practical or technical skills and the right approach,  whether your background is in propulsion, fluids, structures, systems, test, manufacturing, or something else entirely, we want to hear from you.

Team members at P78 are trusted to take ownership of complex problems and see them through. You'll work closely with experienced engineers, apply the full range of your skills, and contribute to hardware that flies.
Tell us what you've worked on, what you want to work on, and why this is the right environment for you.

Let’s Talk

If you're evaluating propulsion for an upcoming mission, we'd like to hear from you.
